Bodegas San Cebrín is a quality-minded co-operative in Rioja, formed in 1998 in Hormilleja and San Asensio. It comprises 85 members with over 400 hectares of vines between them.
Their Rioja Crianza is a Decanter Bronze Medal winner and a lovely example of the Crianza style from this famous region. Hand-harvested grapes are carefully selected and the wine aged in barrel for the prescribed 12 months, before being transferred to bottle and aged for a short while longer prior to release.
The wine is fruit-forward and smooth, with bright violet notes and a lingering finish.
